The old Gulftechs are looking a bit shoddy so it's time for a new grip. Any pros out there with the 411 on stripping, prepping, and laying the new grip for an OE result.? Thanks, Bull |

Where do you get the new material please (meaning the actual grip material)?
Great post, appreciated. |

You can contact NSI Padz at www.nsipadz.com. They will be able to provide the proper boom grip material and/or source it for you.

I got my regrip material from Joe Dill at Davenport Surfsail (831-429-6051) He seems to stock it all the time.
Also, the article links in the previous posts are great. my only thoughts are to use 3m spray-99 for your glue. it is holding up on my booms and went on very smooth. Do not trim the excess to close to the booms, let the sandpaper finish it.
Also, Also - The regrip was longer then I needed so I trimmed it to length and used the scrap on a old broken boom for a test run. sometimes it pays to be nervous. you only get one shot at it but it is easier than I thought! |

The spray stuff works great. Much easier, faster and cleaner.
Hey Bull, let me know where you get yours. I might want some too. |
