I guess I'll decide which way to drive tomorrow, Oxnard or Lake.
After a few days of warmth I was hoping for some fog to start rolling in with onshore flow, which makes it blow at Lake. However, with this high level clouds and possibility of showers on Sat eve.

This weekend should be approaching storm-storm-clearing type weather. Not really Lake Iz pattern, in fact it could be snowing there and on the Grapevine Sunday.
Should be cold 25+ victory at sea conditions everywhere on the coast Sunday! |

I personally guarantee that the wind on Sunday will be epic at the Los Angeles area sailing sites as I will be out of town. |

It is super windy at leo right now, with rain squalls that seem to be diminishing on the radar. Bring very small storm gear! |

Thanks for input on conditions for the weekend, today I ended up at C street on a 4.5 and wished I would have rigged a 3.5.
And yes there were waves, ramps, rollers....

More sailing reports please. As my flight took off this morning I had the misfortune of a window seat so I saw exactly what I was missing.
I would guess Topanga was awesome as if the wind swell is big enough it wraps nicely around the point. The wind graph sure looked strong enough to generate a good wind swell. |

I have to say capetonian, it was a trick day along the south coast. C Street was averaging in the higher 20's, so the windswell ramps were definitely worthy.
I know other important responibilities can sorely test your game, but life does offer contrast, for good or ill.
The only upside is that windsurfing isn't always everything.
Hell, did I really say that? |

I was way overpowered on my 4.7 at county line. I had to leave early and drove down the coast to Santa Monice. There were guys windsurfing at County, Leo, Broad Beach, Surfrider, Topanga, and even Sunset.
EPIC! |
