Pay no attention to Victor. This is completely untrue.

wonderful news indeed! This is some of the most welcome (ws) news I've heard in the last couple of years. While I continued to sail TI during this painfully long and dreadful clean up operation, it wasn't quite the same as when we had access to the boat ramp (not to mentioned we were taking off right by the sewage pipes). I remember those days after epic sessions in the parking lot sharing stories with friends and fellow windsurfers. Here is a picture of one of those days circa 1 year before restriction. I'll bring some champagne on Saturday!

Besides the champagne, bring $$$ to pay for the potential citation and release of your vehicle from the tow yard if parked on the grass.
Ross.

Kevin's access video is most helpful. I expect one issue/concern with using that grassy area for access/parking is that the grass/weeds/groundcover is extremely fragile. Over a WS season of just using that area for rigging, much cover was lost, revealing sand - and that's without any car traffic. David

One mitigating approach to the parking concern might be to drive in there, unload/rig, and then remove vehicle out of the immediate vicinity prior to launch. Would involve a few blocks walk but minimal hassle and towing/resident upset risks. David

In the parking lot with the Bro's after a session at T.I. Late September 2002 at 6:45p.m. I took a video, this is one frame. It's grainy but the memories of T.I are strong. Can't wait to sail there again.

There is some "official" hpeful news; TIDA and the Navy are going to meet with SFBA and Kevin. I'll provide an update at Thursday's SFBA meeting, and on the web site, once there is something definitive to report.
