can i advise patience here?
intellicast.com radar loop
looks like a pile of rain headed our way.....bet it's good later

or just hang out in the cold rain

chapin/bayview depends on tide and personal preference....you can sail to either. chapin has a more varied texture.....bayview has a more standard wave/bar setup...

to get to bayview just follow signs to mayflower, and turn where it says bayview

Happy Easter, Brucie. Don't eat too much.

Here's a little brain teaser to keep you off the streets for a few hours.

Good luck on sailing today.

Couch shopping, this afternoon, to replace what family life has effing destroyed!

I'm giving up on church for tomorrow and hope to hit CC Bay in the late morning.

We finally hit Mayflower... 6.5 all day, at the end I could have been on less, but ya' know... It was kinda messy, but still tons of fun... Tomorrow I'm thinking about hitting Corporation early...

See you out there!

It was fun at Mayflower!
Outcast, thanks for direction. It was right at time when I was on my way to different Bayview in Dartmouth, Massachusetts. Very Happy

See you at Carp tomorrow

I'll be at Corp in the morning too, as long as it's NW or something close. I've got to leave early to get home for Easter Festivities.

How did everyone make out?

I stayed close to home at Skaket with solid NW 4.2 winds / Air at 38 effing degrees (cold for me) / and a start time of mid tide.

Things that worked, which may be of interest: Plenty of polypro and fleece under my Bare, Fleece hat under my Garth Surf Convertable (nice and comfy), palmless Glacier gloves and the key for today - Gordini Winter mitt shells. The mitt shells permit a good grip on the boom with minimal arm pump. My finger tips were warm the whole time.

I didn't push it too long, a nick over an hour on my own.

Corporate meeting was good! I would say in the time I was on the water from 10:30 ish to 1:30 ish 20 people were on the water. 50/50 kiters and windsurfers. Not the warmest day I have had in the last few months but some fun stuff. One of my favorite people to see on the water was Nevin Sayer who is a killer guy, always full of stoke and just an unreal guy on the water!! I would call it classic Corporation conditions. Great to see so many people on the water!!! I thought there would be about 5 people at the most. I was wrong. Good stuff!!!! Laughing

I was at Chapin, but didn't sail. I don't have a drysuit. I took one still photo of Juan (is it the Juan of this thread?) which is a bit shaky due to the wind.
