Whats the deal with it? I will go fix it myself if somebody tells me how to do it. I can think of some locations where a new one could go.... Anybody know any plans to fix it?

I went to Conimicut light tow days in a row (yesterday and today). Yesterday the sensor was reading 20 so I gave it a shot... skunked... Today the sensor was reading 28, so I thought "at least it's going to be 20, or high tees..." went there SKUNKED AGAIN!!!!!!
In summary, do not ever believe that sensor, it's not even X mph above the real wind, it gives totally random readings... and me and you pay for this service...

Anyway, I don't know if this is pertinent to the Pt. Judith post, but I thank you for letting me rant...

See you guys on Sunday, hopefully...

I agree, Conimicut is not useful. I think it may reflect an upper layer of wind, which may or may not get down to the surface. I would not sail there unless nearby sensors like Sabin are also registering a good wind.

The Pt Judith meter has been broken for months! I sent IWindsurf a complaint about it a few weeks ago but have had no response. It's very frustrating.
