Extremely gusty day. The sun and air temps, though, made it quite beautiful. As to windsurfing, I was at work all day, rigging and sailing. I did discover that a half meter change in sail size was more effective in increasing my upwind ability than a change from a weeder to an upright.

Hi Outcast - the waves at Horseneck were pretty good man, at least in my opinion... With the side off wind, getting out was not impossible, then you had some great ramps, and a pretty safe zone for jibes... The ride back was, well, in the waves... Here's a picture that Steve took of me, probably about to get killed Smile

Hope to see you out there soon,

j

That's a pretty good photo Juan. Steve knows what he is doing. I haven't been to Horseneck since I was a child some 50 years ago. Where did you grow up? We all know that Oneup came from a test tube.

That's pretty good, Brucie. I'm sure that Oneup will enjoy it. He has a marvelous sense of humor and appreciates the truly absurd... you, for example.
Meanwhile, find the swine flu in this picture. . . . . . . . . . .

Hate that direction? you (all) should have come over.

I needed some male bonding, 3 women kiters against me. A little bit of interaction, by I tended to hang further out.

Absolutely flat out with a 5.0 all morning. Wind angle, tide, a mix of speed runs transistioning to jumps as the tide came in, air temp, water temp, old board, all "As" The only drawback was a wasted 20 minutes trying to make a 4.2 work.

A tentative nomination for the top 5 of the year list.

RC

ps: Friday night and Saturday morning surf sessions didn't hurt either!

I am willing to try that spot Ron in a WNW as I have yet to find a good location for that direction. Glad you had a killer session. I had a good session at Mayflower on my 11m kite and 5' 10" strapless board.
