The Wall, Doug's, Hatchery, etc. Big fat swell, crashing waves, explosions, sick air time, etc.
Thanks. |

My humble suggestion - try Picasa web albums, then viewers don't have to sign in or register to view the photos. It's really easy to create and share photos. |

Surely it can't be difficult to Google up some Gorge pics, and one windy day good enough to make the internet looks pretty much like the next. Google, pretend, and enjoy. Heck, most of us thought Friday was much better than Saturday out east.

Trudyl, I've really enjoyed your photos in the past. And of course there's always that faint hope that I'll see myself someday in one of them during my most sparkling moment of the day. (No hope for me Saturday though...getting hammered with my 3.2 all the way flattened!) Thanks for sharing! |

Thanks for the photo posting. According to the iwindsurf data, Rowena/Doug's had pretty good wind Saturday. Photos of insane flippers are OK, but I am hoping to see more photos that show just how fat and tall the swell was at Doug's. I was there and would love to augment my feeble memory of the time. The swells in the channel there were pretty big, long-lasting, and fun to surf. |

The problem with me getting swell photos, is that I was actually windsurfing most of the time when the big swells came through, which was 3-6pm on Friday. We need to find some sucker that doesn't windsurf and likes to take photos in 40-50mph wind. I took all the photos before and after my session.
If anyone would like me to take their picture just come up to me and ask, all my photos are free to download, I just need to know what your sail looks like before you hit the water. |
