Hi Windsurfers-

Rumor has it there may be no or light wind today. If you want to fuel your wind addiction anyway, head down to the Event Site and join us at Windfest, the Gorge's best beach party!

While there's no wind, you can...
- Demo a SUP board
- Learn how to maximize your wind & water fun at clinics by Wyatt Miller, Zoe Najim, Bruce Peterson, and more.
- Eat a popsicle at the Naish booth to help celebrate their 30th year anniversary.
- Swing by Windsport and Windsurfing Magazines' booths and read up on the latest issue.

When the wind starts a nukin', demo the latest and greatest windsurf gear.

If it's live music you want, we've got it for ya'! Music starts at 4pm today with the youth talent Pink Gravel and Order and Chaos. At 6pm Tess Barr's Blues Band takes the stage, with live rock n' roll dance tunes.

At 7pm, YOU could be the winner of a trip for two to Vela Aruba- if you bid on it at the live auction. Already have your winter migration plans? Other auction goodies include restaurant and lodging certificates, lots o' windsurf gear, art, a scenic planeride for 2, and much more.

And be sure to feed your appetite and stay hydrated with food from Taco del Mar and beverages from Full Sail- available on the beach.

Swap Meet is Sunday morning at the Expo Center parking lot, and gear demos & clinics continue at the Event Site 10-4 tomorrow.

The moral of this long post is that you don't have to shed a tear about the lack of wind today, because we've got the goods to feed your wind addiction anyway.

See you at the beach!

-Katie

P.S. Did we mention that this is a major fundraiser for the Columbia Gorge Windsurfing Association? The bucks you spend support CGWA's programs and projects. So buy that hot fudge in the auction and feel good knowing that you are supporting Gorge windsurfing!
