I have one myself at 225lbs its the only wave board that works for me. It now is the 103 though you can still get the old model at Wind spirit Direct online.
I have been looking at the RRD Freestyle/Waves as a follow on.

if you are in the gorge, check out second wind sports. I believe they carry the Exocets. |

hey tdierauf, since you're 180 and accomplished, you might opt for something a touch smaller. i'm 205 and the 105L is good for me. maybe some crissy regs can comment on that? |

I'll sail Chrissy right now on one of my existing boards if the wind is windy -- no problem. I'm just looking for a "light air" board for when it's marginal.
I do have memories of being out at the north tower when the ebb turned to flood (and then the wind died). I'd be down Raccoon Straights if I was on a board that I couldn't uphaul. For me, that's around 105L.
That's why I'm looking for another one of these.
Cheers,
Tim |

Tabou 3S 107l is a go to board for me.
I'm 240lbs. It handles chop ok and can be pretty turny with the right fin. |

Up in Portland right now. Freaken HOT. Oregon sailors should pay me not to come back.
Cheers,

I think the 107 Tabou 3s would be outstanding. The Naish 105 or 115 All Terrain are also stellar - both are wave oriented and handle chop and swell, very, very nicely. Additionally, I have been extremely impressed with the Tabou Rocket. The Rocket is more of a freeride board. The bottom is double concave and I have taken it in Coyote Point chop and loved how well it slices through everything - fun to jump too.
We have a Tabou 97l and the 105l Rocket as demo boards in the shop. You are welcome to try them. I would also be happy to put you in contact with a guy who rides the 105 All Terrain and a guy who rides the 107 Tabou so you can try them out. Just let me know.
One other board that is pretty interesting (if the name does not scare you away) is the Hifly Madd twin fin. We have 2 of these in 115ls in the Carbon/Technora construction. If you not adverse to the Hifly name (most people think cheap beginner boards, but their performance boards are outstanding), then you can demo these too.
Finally, we don't have any of the Exocet boards in stock, but we can order those for you - no problem.
Cheers and let us know if you need help trying boards.

Ditto the comment on Mikes Lab, or if you are in a hurry, JP Freestyle Wave, around 95 L in Carbon . |

the Rocket is fast, it does most all, will plane faster than the 107 3S, which still has the dual tail, think the 3S wil handle swell, chop better, but at your weight maybe not.
the Naish AT is brilliant. _________________ K4 fins
