| Maui. There is wind pretty much year around, the temps are always ~80-85 (north shore), and the wave sailing is excellent. You never need more clothes than shorts and slippahs, and people don't care if you drive a beater car.

The eastern Gorge is much closer and usually windier than CA, and much warmer and sunnier and windier than the corridor, in the spring.
