Derek killed it today on the river by Lyle. This is the world s fastest time this month. That is quite an achievement, considering it is faster that the competitors at the recent speed world cup in Greece.
This is also the fastest Gps time in North America. |

today and maybe Saturday should produce even more options for very fast times. Once Derek went so fast he sailed right under the Railroad bridge and the highway bridge, There is no wind from about 75 ft in front of teh first bridge!
Key is not just wind . the water level is perfect, exposing the sandbar and keeping water flat |

just imagine a shot of a sailor doing 35 or 40 knots UNDER the two bridges between 50 ft walls 120 ft across and more:)
