OK I think it's safe to say that Danny was more or less a bust for windsurfing.

Last night, Danny's left-overs delivered waist+ swells with some power behind'em.

Morebeachdotcom Mike, the neighborhood boys and me all got some and more. I think the OUTCASTers will be happy to see that the bowl's good conditions didn't come though on Mike's report.

Dinner time conditions look'n good for Thursday and maybe Friday.

Look at Erika, on the same track as the rest.

Hi Ron: We sailed Katama on Saturday. 10:00 A.M. and I slogged out in 2 ft. slush. No go.

3:30 I rigged a 5.8 and was nicely powered. The swell was not that huge, maybe head to logo high on the top end, but a few sets rose up that certainly were worth a second look. As afternoon became evening, the wind picked up and I decided to stay on the 5.8. It was very difficult and I now wish I did rig down to my 5.0.

I felt overpowered coming back in in the side-on conditions but appreciated the juice to get out through the very short-period surf. One particular macker offered one of the best bottom turn/arial off-the-lips I've had in years. It was at least mast high and hollow; I caught it between two peaks, took the turn, hit the feathering lip and up I went. I slammed and then stalled in the trough and took the wave directly on my head. Ahh..... bliss!

It wasn't 4.5 until after I derigged, but either way, those of us sailing on MV last Saturday afternoon did get the goods.
