I think pleasant bay. I don't think there are sharks? The tide will be out at chapin most of the day. Can you sail the "other side" harbor side at Kalmus on a ENE?

Lesson learned from yesterday. The iwindsurf meter apparently misreads on due east at WD Was waiting for wind at Mayflower , where we had sailed on Thursday, where it came up later in the day. Thought it was ENE , but was more easterly and guys were sailing at WD , went to WD and the rain came and the wind died , about 2:30, but it had been good ( 5.0) even though the meter said 14 mph, another clue was that Horseshoe Schoals had been reading close to 30. I've sailed many times at WD in SE, and the meter seemed right on, but not yesterday in the east maybe slightly NE direction...Uggg

the meter is definitely off in E.

I was sailing at W Dennis from 5:30 to 7:15 yesterday, very windy. The meter read 10 -20, then 15-23, which seems about right at the shoreline, in the wind shadow. A few hundred feet offshore it was probably gusting closer to 30. It seemed mostly sideshore on the water but there was a very substantial wind shadow near shore anyway.
