OK, I didn't make it today - job responsibilities and the winds looked a little too onshore. I'm playing hooky tomorrow. Looks like a more NNE to NE day. Any takers? |

Would love to but have too much on at work. Tomorrow afternoon looks like it will be great! Keen to try out Assateague in the near future though - does it have good waves? Was disappointed with Rehoboth, beach too steep for decent surf. |

Robs:
Assateague is primo set up for wave sailing. No comparsion to Rehobeth. The sandbar is stable and well offshore so lots of opportunities for waves a low tide. You can launch from the parking lots (carry your rig over dune) or if you have vehicle pass can drive onto beach and choose your own secluded location away from crowd. There is also bayside sailing if ocean is not working.
