your decision to vacation plans for going to Maui?
Friend of mine has been shut out by the mob rule of surfers there. Gotta ask these simple questions:
1. How much of the North Shore tourism $ comes from Windsurfing?
2. Surfing?
3. per capita, who spends more?
4. why does the mob rule? why are there no windsurfers as life guards there?
5. why doesn't the constitution protect all users of the surf zone?
6. why do the tourism folks affected, do something constructive to retain the windsurfing revenue?
7. would you want to spent that much money to go there to be shut out of H? when will the rest of the shore be shut out by that very precedent? when will that disease find our breaks in the CONUS? _________________ www.aerotechsails.com

Ask Web Pedrick, who got his coconut kicked in my the Mob!!
The knuckledraggers band together in classic mob mentality to control their surf sites. Rules or no rules, when confronted with lowlife surfers in Hawaii with nothing to lose, it may be best to drag your healthy azz to Sprecks or Kanaha before your vacation gets canceled. Whatever happens, don't expect a one on one scrap. It will be you vs. them!
I've seen that shit go down with my own eyes. Dude got jumped for parking in the wrong spot with windsurfing equip. He didn't need all those ribs for breathing anyway, WTF?? |

I spent 3 weeks in August in Maui. This year more than others I felt a strange uneasy feeling, I think the locals have gotten more agro with the bad economy. In fact my 5 year old beat up rental van got it's outside rearview mirror busted, one night.
Granted I was not staying in the best part of town. Anyways, this link may shed some light on the 10 surfer rule.

I'll still go back, infact may return in Oct. |
