rant away...
better here than in the parking lot staring at 10mph winds, and rigging anyway because you just have to sail Very Happy

Sometimes even worse is the tide not on schedule.

Tomorrow it's low in the (CC)bay at 11ish, I've got the chance to take a long lunch but no effing water.

WTF, I'm gonna walk to the edge of the (what I call) contenental shelf in CC Bay.

Anybody want to come along?? at Skaket, the home of great northwind sailing!

tide, wind, swell, temperature, sun, work, family, and equipment all have to be right......that's what makes it all so sweet when it comes together!!!!

In regards to Pleasant Bay

I just happen to be at the Bounre Bridge today, so a little impulse shopping was done at Sailworld - a True Ames 8.75" surf grass fin.

No time to night to set it up for P. Bay, that's why I'll tough it out tommorw in CC Bay with my trusty Curtis G-10(?) slot wave. I figure a late lunch date will only need a long walk going out.

Good night, RC

my in-laws have a place down by skaket.
the tide there goes out a LONG way, quite a walk out to the water when the tide it out!

ron.c, I might be heading out that way next weekend though I've never sailed there before. Maybe I'll see ya there.
