Why buy Cobra produced boards when you can get a custom, hand made board that is built in the US..Maui to be exact! Built to last and they sail better than any board out there! And...they do not, I repeat, do not cost any more than the cobra production boards...
Please, for your sake, check out the following link

I sail the 75 XWave in the Gorge..single fin..My one board does it all..5.2 down to 3.2...My San Carlos wave board is the 85 XWave and soon the 85 WavePro. Twins are great for wave faces and bottom turns but singles are still the choice for the Gorge..Anyway, check out The above link..

The 70 liter did not foot steer as nice as I hoped |
Please explain the apparent contradiction.

Ok my 2 cents. Twins are fun and turny but the single fins still the most versatile combo for all around. If you aren't always sailing in the waves I'd still go for the single fin. If you're sailing an epic wave spot all the time then have at it with a twin fin. You'll have fun with a twin in any conditions but really a good single will prevail in the long run. But fun to change it up every once in a while.

I like your reply, and fundamentally I agree, that single fins are not going to go away to be replaced by the next best//new thing..Naish boards continue entirely single. The RRD Twin Wave I see in a different light from the offereings by Quatro, Mistral and Goya or JP, Starboard after only 1 year of Evil Twin, have gone Quad.
Most twins are about riding and geared towards nice size waves, the RRD is more of a allrounder and geared towards making the most of smaller waves, it has more of a pivotal and redirectable feel. The width of the tail , max and nose , plus planing area are spot on for my requirements.
