man, you guys are really good at going off topic.
what i say for this whole jumping rig is:
sounds like a really great setup, but in all honesty you're not going to jump unless you have some ramps.
it seems like the old school slalom set ups like flying, so enjoy yourself
some random tips:
the harder you kick your back foot and throw your gear up above you, the higher you'll go (duh)
look where you want to land (if you look anywhere else, you're toast)
and just send it.

kiters are BS, slalom/formula is the best.
