I'm IN !! Wind direction & speed, rain, lightning and bone-crushing surf will determine whether Coast Guard will work tomorrow. Check the AM numbers!!!

The decent forecast here (plus BOATLOADS of work) kept me locked in FL. Deadline is fast approaching for first issue of next year, and it's gonna be a GOOD one, so....
hope everyone is getting it good...

Josh- road trip it! Get in the truck now, hit Hatteras tomorrow, then the Cape on Thursday! I'll join you for the second leg up to the cape. Let's go! |
By all means skip Long Island, where it will absolutely honk!

I suspect that I’m only entitled to one furlough from my Community Service Work Program this week. So right now morebeachdotcom mike and I are planning to do the Bowl and / or points north, which has more pronounced bars.
If any of the SUP crew happens to be hanging around with their thumb out, we might find room for a paddle boat in the back of the truck. I think surfing can go right to 4:30.
Speaking of Work Programs, I just happened to be mistakenly looking through the business white pages and I came upon, what looks like, a day time alias for one of the usual suspects lurking here. I’m wondering if we should address this guy with a title more formal than mister from now on?
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TAUNTON MA
COASTAL WATERS FROM PROVINCETOWN MA TO CHATHAM MA TO NANTUCKET MA
INCLUDING THE infamous BOWL AREA
421 PM EST WED DEC 2 2009
FRI......BECOMING W 5 TO 10 KT IN THE AFTERNOON. SEAS 4 TO 6 FT.

Only thing worse than working when you shouldn't, and your buds are on it, is to see many unridden waves.
It may not look like much, but that's logo high side off (as i post this)

Sailed in RI, good but not side off, more like side-side on. I will have to make the trip to the cape more often. Chatham sounds like the spot when its right. Post some pictures of today if you have them
