Guess it was wishful thinking - was hoping he had a missing i and wouldn't be able to see us. 2pm sounds ok if the wind holds.

That was great!!! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Thanx, Jerry, for buggin me enough to get over there & get er done - check 1 for Feb. !!!! Glad I went with the 5.2. My board's a bit heavy these days, so I needed the extra power. Looked like the 4.7's did the trick for you & PK.

I was a bit distressed when one of the screws holding my back footstrap in place pulled out after a jibe off Dead Man's Point Shocked It forced me to do a careful downwinder back to the lighthouse for a screwdriver, & right when the swell was getting good. After the repair was done, I was only able to get 1/2 way back to the point before the wind shut off Crying or Very sad Got to do a better job of checking out my gear next time.

What about the lighthouse??? It was plugged in but they didn't turn on the motor that turns the light!!!! I could see the light from the north point but it was dark when viewed from Dead Man's. I know the economy is hitting things hard, but that's unacceptable!! Mad

How bout part 2 on Thursday??? Anybody in????
