Great first day of the season yesterday. Blue skies, warm air at 60 degrees and water not too cold. As long as air and water temp add up to 100 it's on. 6.4 - 7.0 wind but still great to be back on the water.

Temira says Monday, but I think Sunday could be good west winds. Sailed 5.2 At Rooster for a couple hours today, nice and warm.

Well, the best I saw on the graph at Swell was 13-23.... I guess it depends how much you weigh how well a 5.2 is going to work for you... but strange, I didn't see you there today... unless you were the guy knee deep waiting for the occasional puffs... fun fun fun!

Well, sounds like you rocked it out there... like I say, I was there today... I would describe the winds as marginal, the swell non-existent, but hey, whatever floats yer boat, er... board! Laughing

Okay you crazy windsurfers. It's still winter, but I'm trying to be more consistent about getting you a forecast in this no-forecast season, as you're out on the water ripping it up. Monday still looks good, although models suggest the morning will be the strongest wind. Probably a big day coming up in the desert later this week.

There were 3 of us at Rowena late afternoon, caught the sunny weather and winds on a 5.7 and 5.2, fully powered up. George didn't quite catch the wind, rigged too small. The wind stayed up, but went behind the clouds and the temperature dropped to make it a little unpleasant and cold, so we quit.

No worries Temira, you do a great job and I think you absolutely nailed the forecast today, at least for the Swell/Hatchery area which is where I was...

Keep up the great work, and thanks from the bulk of us who really appreciate the effort you make to bring us any forecast at all for this time of year. Very Happy
