Hi all,
My car was broken into last night in front of my car and all the gear inside was taken. I would really appreciate if everyone kept an eye out for any pieces of my gear! THanks!
1 brand new blue maui sails all carbon boom (140-200) with blue mono lines
1 red Hawaii proline carbon boom (smaller)
1 370 skinny 100% carbon
3 yellow hansen sails 5.1, 4.6, 4.1
Thanks all

Let all the local shops know.(call by telephone). Ten or so years ago, I had a board taken off my car while tipping margaritas at then-Celia's Bar and Grille. Sure enough, a few days later, the perpetrator tries to sell it to the local shop. Got my board back, thanks Will. |

so sorry A. take a look in Craiglist as well. Maybe eBay. I'll be on the alert.
I was there a few years ago when the person who stole Bill's gear came back to CSC to try to sell it back; quite a story with a happy ending.

I know its not much but I since I go to all the swap meets I will be bringing with me a list of stolen Bay Area gear. If you have anything to add please let me know and I will add it to the inventory. We have to make it a waste of time to steal watersports gear. Try to check the page before you buy on the secondar market if your are at all suspicous.

Bummer Astrid. If they try to sell it we will find it. |

UGGGGLLLY JOB
Sorry to hear that... With a little bit of luck you will get your gear back. Most of these thieves are dump asses for going after windsurfing equipment, our community is very small.
In July 2006 they stole my 2 boards, wetsuit and harness, 4 days after got busted at Berkeley Boardsports while trying to sell them. I recovered all my gear... |

Don't forget to check Ebay regularly. One of my friends had his stuff posted last year after being stolen. The seller claimed he bought it cheap from someone else. Best part my friend got his board back! |

thanks everybody!!!
Hopefully my gear will turn up soon. I will go to the swap meet Saturday and will keep a look out on all the web sites. Does anyone have the phone numbers for the windsurf shops in the bay area? I sadly don't have any pictures of my gear but its all pretty distinctive stuff, especially my sails.
Thank you so much to everyone for helping me out!!!
