Hey! It's going off at Tomales as I write this. I don't want to be the only one there like the last two times I went.

yeah, save gas for you. I live 35 minutes from Tomales. It was great from noon til 3:00 then got holey. But I ended up on a 3.5, powered where it was filled in. I hope to be back tomorrow. And the next day. And the day after that. If my arms don't fall off Smile

It wasn't epic today by Tomales standards, but I still had a great time and really enjoyed the drive out there. It's spring time, the hills are green, and the deer are out and about. Nice reaching back toward Grassy Point and seeing all the cows grazing on the hillside.

The wind was on the holey side today, but I was happy w/ my 3.7 and 81l in the puffs. I don't know that bigger gear would've helped that much in the holes.

Would welcome a repeat on Friday Very Happy

I don't think I can compare the Stick and Tomales. I enjoy Tomales way more than the stick and the drive out is cool. Now if it would just stop RAINING on my days off so I can get in the water. I've yet to sail in Calif this season Sad

Made work not work yesterday and went for an afternoon at Tomales. Not a sole around and blowing 35.

Frankly, I would have liked some company. Are there any "regulars" at Grassy Knoll?

Yes, usually. However I was in Fremont, plus I'm suspicious of sailing there at any time other than a "classic" Tomales day. And yesterday was not classic. (I got stuck on the other side when the wind died once. 4:30 PM, middle of January)
