Kinda weird a windsurfing site would be a target.
Either this kid is practicing or he really does not like the windsurfers sharing his waves ... Smile

They weren't a target because of windsurfing, they were a target because
of a security hole they had. Hackers are constantly wandering randomly
through web pages until they come upon one they can mess with.

like Craig said: a while back, I had my forum hacked many times, and invariably found someone had come to my website using the exact version of my phpp software as search phrase. It was a ridiculous tug of war for a while, until I threw in the towel and abandoned the forum
