Yes:
Shop sponsors were not getting enough business to support the local effort and cost to put it on.
Windsurfers were too cheap to anti up for reasonable registration fess to off set costs and very critical of the event and sponsors.
Gear makers not willing to attend or support due to low returns on sales.
Event sponsors harder to find
Volunteers to run event harder to find.
Murphy's rule of windsurfing is that if you have an event the wind will not cooperate
Apathy prevails |

unfortunately windsurfing and mogul skiing have been "dying" at a similar rate it seems. Too bad my parents didnt get me into something that might have actually paid off in something other than personal satisfaction |
