What's up down there?
We've sent envoys, but the usual blogs are not dishing it out.
meantime we've been getting some pretty good pulses up here although there's no Bubba's to fall back on

Careful of that Bubba's! Once a month, dude. Of course, if you're only here for a week per year, that means you can eat two meals a day there, and it still averages out just fine.
Last week was slow for wind but great for surf and sup. This week's winds are starting off great, with a day full of mid 20s to mid 30s yesterday, and wind forecast for the next 3 or 4 days! Should be good!
There'll be some pics and a (recycled) vid up on windsurfingmag.com shortly... Here's a teaser shot:

Alas, no Bubbas in OBX either. Both Avon and Frisco now closed.
I just got back from 15 days in Frisco.Eight days of sailing from a few days of much to light and worthless to a few days of 4.7m. With some bicycling, SUP and lounging thrown in to fill out the weeks. Very little rain, lots of sun, not a bad way to start the season. RC

SNIP RC |
Bubbas "Deux" was open for business in my back yard. We had an awesome pork BBQ last weekend. Slow, low and fall-off-the-bone good. Not quite Bubbas, but I got to choose the beer.

Dan, what no general invite? Folks on the Banks were jonesing for some pulled pork, and had to wait till Friday night for the Windfest BBQ, which was great as usual. Big servings of the sloppy stuff. RC

Bubba's is on Roanoke Island, just before you get into Manteo. Never tried it, but if you are a fan, it's there.
