A big thanks to whoever weedwhacked the blackberry bushes on the far east trail at the Hatch. Much appreciated!

I hope it was done only as necessary for access, as I've always LOVED picking fresh BBerries to top off my breakfasts in the Gorge.

it was only two feet on either side, just enough room for people to pass carrying gear. You don`t want those berrries anyway, too close to urination range.

Would iso lower his standards enough to visit the Hatch?
I think not.

It would take all night just to make it to the hatch from out east (3 triad cities)...but because of the fortuitous spring, it's mostly been all out east any(who).

There's a simple and rather obvious trick to getting to the big, juicy, fully ripe, unculled, untainted berries from way back in the heap.

And the Hatch is "just" two hours away from my home, so if I really have to ... BLEEAAACHHHHH!!! ... I will sometimes suck it up and stoop to sail there ... followed by a half-hour shower in battery acid. Wink
