Ron,
That's HOT!
It's like a SUP gun/tow in board! your kid will rip!
I will call you next time its 4x overhead if i can get JE to tow me into something
So what if the pad is worth more than the board!
Now get Dady on one of the goddamn aircraft carriers, and you might get a way-cool Father-Son thing going!!!!!!
Did I see you on my way to the beach tonite.....worked on my bash-pivot-drop in

Wadda ya mean PSH-xx?
I'm, in serious love with my PSH....I'm like even waxing the deck pad, and smacking it's ass with the paddle
And yes, I too have a Superlight....sounds like it's time to revive Wens nite racing!!!!! _________________ https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=2&v=zw0MgkO7VXw |

I'm trying to research the PSH used yesterday. It also had Oxbow grahics. It's a shame that the guy who bought it has gone a whole season without being able to stand on it.
I'd say it was on the narrow and tippy side.
My son's board went from laying on lumber scraps to prime rack space on my side of the garage.
On a paddle trip home the other night, my son said that when he gets to big for it, it will go back in storage for his kids!
Is the pad worth more than the board?? The combination of the 2 has been priceless this summer.

Did I mention before that I successfully pond SUP'd it a handful of times. The only way to take off is beach starting it, then paddle your ballz off with a surf stance - no stopping!

bad thread hijack based on sup-stoke.....
So what about that Superlight retractable fin?
I keep staring at mine wondering what to do when it breaks......can't glass anything in ...I think it will be toast
I also have a Magnum 390, which I love (once a year), but haven't done anything with old sails.....I kept a few for a long time, but never used them so they got dumpstered
I know where there is both a Windsurfer Rocket 99 and 83 just rotting away......I got all excited about them, until i picked them up....heavy! _________________ https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=2&v=zw0MgkO7VXw |

Fin replacement info here:

My Superlight retractable fin is looking fine but the plastic flange that holds the fin cassette in has radiating cracks at the screw holes. Been wondering about that... |

Heavy??.............surely you mean "weight challenged"? Personally, I like sailing a heavier board from time to time. I often sail an old (1988?) Mistral Screamer..........9'2", 103ltrs. It's like a battering ram through chop compared to my newer lighter boards. I occasionally strap a late 80's North Prisma to it for maximum effect..........loads of low end power, ice breaker like ride.........point it across the wind and hang on!! Magnificent!! |

Remember the old gear(sails, masts, and extensions) makes for nice gear for ice sail. Which is a growing sport. |
