Gorge Trip Video

Had a ball along with Shredbob and Suzie K. My one regret is I should have had a " clew view" for my GoPro.
Jerry, you will be hearing from me soon.
The Gorge is special. Hood river, the scenery, the people,
more than just windsurfing.
In the video I tried to show some of the most popular spots, and also to
get a feel of the place.

Very kewl Radar O. Brings me right back there...wait, I'm still here Cool

A bit of a break in the wind once you and Suzie Q left, until yesterday, Wednesday. Very windy but gusty Roosevelt on 4.2/3.7. I saw Sailworks Dale C. doing his rocket launch jumps and felt very close to the water in comparison. May try Doug's Thurs. Hope you guys get some back home.

Yup, classic 4.2 at Doug's. Perfect afternoon. It was the spot to be and once all the Gorge sailors convened there by mid afternoon I found some smooth unchopped up swell upwind at Doug's West with lots of carving room Cool

You guys are due. Hopefully Sunday for you.

Picture of "smoke" spray on the water.

Saw smoke yesterday at Three-Mile sailing, and here on the way back to Hood River --not too well captured with my cell-cam at highway speed, but you get the idea with the patch of "smoke" floating over the water where the wind has whipped up the spray unmercifully. At Three-Mile it was lasting for 30 second stretches. Shocked

...Three-Mile...Yum! (until the smoke started).
