Hey!

I'm going to Maui for 3 weeks: November 8-29 and looking for INEXPENSIVE studio preferably in Paia or Haiku. May consider Kihei if conditions and price is right. Studio must have internet connection (wireless or wired).
Willing to pay $1000 cash for those 3 weeks.
About myself: 50+ y/o windsurfer, professional, non smoker, non drinker. Been on Maui before many times on trips from couple weeks to couple month.

Thanks,

You should probably post an ad on craigslist, and check out the other ads there.

You'll have the best chance of striking a deal if you are willing to wait until the last second, but you also risk a lot of hassle, especially for a 3 week trip. November is a popular month with lots of surf, cold weather on the mainland, and the Thanksgiving holiday, so I'd recommend getting something lined up sooner rather than later. Since your focus is on INEXPENSIVE, be prepared to drive a bit more and deal with some accommodations that may not be the cleanest or newest.

Good luck for finding a place. You'll have a great time. November is one of my favorite months of the year, and we often get some HUGE swells in November. Incidentally, we had a banner month for waves on Maui this past September!

As for my place, I'm still working with the county and neighbors on my B&B permit.

Aloha,

Justin
