A. Yeah, but air temps in the 40s?
B. How the hell did you post this? I can't even get daylight, let alone the internet, at PK. Something's really changed there.

I'll consider Sunday. A bit warmer and dryer and wind everywhere.

Well good luck in HR tomorrow, forecast looks great. I hope your booties are more than 3mm.. Mine are 3mm and the feet could have been much warmer than what they were.. Not bad, but numb after a couple hrs..
I tried 2 different pairs of fingered neo gloves and I just hate it.. Day would have been so much better if my grip was more normal. A couple fellow surfers stopped by and got to check out the dakine mittens. Need to get a pair of those http://www.dakine.com/p/windsurf/gloves/cold-water-mitt
It was what I would consider an epic day at PK. For 3 hrs it averaged 28 gusting to 35. Between 12pm and 2pm swell was the biggest I've seen it there. Waves were crashing the shore, and a few out in the middle acted more like 6' surf, crashing down upon me. Since I was alone, a newb, and on smaller gear I did not venture more than 1/2 mile from the launch and I'm guessing the swell was even bigger on the far side. It was a 4.2 the whole time switching between a 85L and a 110L.
Once, my rig lifted off the water and flew about 20' downwind. I was swimming like a madman to catch it

I've been wanting to try those windsurfing mittens (also a good nickname for Mitt Romney) for a while. Based on the review in this post my wife just ordered me a pair for Christmas, though she doesn't know it yet. I will post a review once I've had them on the water.
