This is pretty after-the-fact, but didn't anybody else feel ripped off? I paid Bonnier Publications for X issues of Wind Surfing magazine, and they just stopped short, with no refund! They sent me one issue of s surfing magazine I didn't want, but then just kept the rest of my subscription money. Bonnier Corp. didn't go under, just one of their mags, so where's my refund? Their own website says they have over $350,000,000. in annual revenues.

Probably Republicans, ripping off the little guy as usual.

Or democrats ripping off windsurfers because they think they're too rich and don't need a mag to go along with their greed.

No,,, didn't you read the fine print? You'll get 38 cents back after lawyer and administration fees.

It may be too late now, but back in Feburary I emailed them at WindSurf@emailcustomerservice.com and requested a full refund. After a few emails of "no thanks to their list of other mags" and "I request a full refund" and a few months delay, they sent me a FULL refund for the unused portion of my subscription. They did send me one issue of the surf mag, which was nothing but ads and quickly went into recycle.

Yeah, but their hats still work just fine. Friend of mine gave me a free "Windsurfer" hat, maybe it'll be worth some money in 2,000 years?

I would be embarrassed to wear that hat because the magazine did suck for at least 8 years....last decent board test was in 2000

Thanks, KellyGeygan. Your highly rational, well thought-out, fully informed opinion is of utmost importance to everyone here.

Clearly, testing Formula boards in the booming windsurfing market of San Diego would have saved our asses, and I'd still have a job, and you'd have a magazine. I don't know how we didn't see the light - must have been a moment of cognitive dissonance.

The mag did not suck, I savored every issue as most of us did. I def miss it. I don't know where this comes from, some peeps just like to complain I guess. No one was ever forced to buy it.
