I used this site but there was no recorded data for today. It can be used for any of the dams.

I did go out today and sailed 3.7 in 28 mph winds and very strong current. All the spillways were open. The problem currently is predicting how many spillways will be open.

I use this one:
http://www.nwrfc.noaa.gov/stp/station/stpplot/stpplot.cgi?JDAO3
but have been operating under others' opinion that the swell isn't very good or consistent until until the flow drops back near 200,000. Am I wrong about that?
The only good thing about high current in the Maryhill Corridor is that it provides a safe, easy, hassle-free, solo 5-mile downwinder. I once launched at Maryhill and sailed up to near the dam rapids and back on a great 4.2 midsummer day with moderately high current by summer standards (don't know the numbers). I didn't find one good swell the whole trip ... just confused washing machine mishmash due to excess current ... but when the wind backed off halfway back, I traveled the last mile or two sitting on my little board riding the express escalator. This should be a good year for that.

My understanding is that it should be under 200 for the Wall to be EPIC! Last week there was plenty of wind but flat as I have ever seen The Wall and it was running about 350

That explains it. I drove out to Maryhill on 7/27/12. Nice wind, 22 - 29 when I got there, but NOTHING to play on out on the water. I drove to Rufus and it was the same there. I should have just settled for good wind and no swell. Instead I drove back to Rowena for some crazy gusty wind. But at least there was some swell....
