The oligarchs like the Kochs want socialism?
Never heard that before, Steve.
An essential part of that is redistributing the wealth. L
Are you sure that is their agenda?

Jeff Imelt was Obama's top economic advisor at one point. GE owns Obama. GE will go along with any ideology, and today's ideology is Obama's. Buffet, Gates, Immelt, Richard Rich, are all in Obama's pocket or vise verse. Just yesterday Obama was at a $35,000 per plate dinner with Mr. Rich. (a billionaire, and that really is his name)

It is hilarious that the left here listen to Obama's populist outcry, yet ignore how much big money sits in his lap. You see, they would be all too happy with a socialist nation. The oligarchs would be unfettered by supply and demand under this system. We are dangerously close to unrest because of the unequal distribution of wealth in this nation. My opinion and most conservatives is big government is the culprit. The left believes big business is the culprit.

Let me clue you in to a little issue, democrats have no problem with working with republicans. Look at the cabinet positions dems have put republicans into. Believe it or not there are some sharp republicans out there but they are not the partisan rabid ones.

so when right wingers say he did not reach across the isles that too is a bold face lie........ More so than any president in the history of the USA.

Three Cabinet appointees from opposing party is unmatched

I didn't mention the Koch's. They may receive some protections from the WH, but not like the big Obama donors. Not every industrialist is an oligarch.

BTW at every branch of the government the dems have tried to limit the contributions by the rich. But the right wing at every branch of government argues to allow it. Again it was a 5 to 4 decision the right wing fanatic supreme idiots that said companies and people can spend unlimited amounts in elections.

The same with the right wing briefs all supported that too. NONE of the liberal supreme court justices voted for the right to buy elections by the oligarks. NOT one.

and again all the laws that are passed for it are all right wingers voting for them.

so do not give me well you guys, us dems have 1/10 of the rich too so we are equal. there is an obvious reason right wingers do not want limits. daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. They do it as they said because the right wing has 10 times more. again this does not even count the oil or chemical commercials that do not say a candidate. They just say we make jobs by polluting you water so we are the good guys. Those commercials do not make you switch from shell gas to chevron. They are political and are not even counted in the spending and they are the largest ad buys in the world.

Honestly, I am not up on a solid list of oligarths, just the couple most famous ones.
If the Kochs are not oligarchs, then someone will have to explain that word to me.
I thought they define oligarchy. It is often mentioned in the media.
I have never heard it mentioned until now that oligarchs are socialists.

where is the (so called liberal media) right wing owned demanding this paper editor be fired? that the reporter be fired. and so on...

a crowning jewel, i think even the right wingers will understand how this is a glaring example of right wing media ownership and control. again no different than how dictators stay in power controlling the media. this is right wing journalism and contol of it to th max.

the person whos report they were writing about basically completely contradicts what these propaganda machines put out saying basically he opposite of the truth.

The Official Michael Brown Autopsy Report Doesn't Say What the St. Louis Post-Dispatch Says It Does
Quote:

Yesterday as our little group was preparing to stand in solidarity with Ferguson for the national October 22 Day Against Police Brutality, Repression and the Criminalization of a Generation, the media was buzzing about the story headlined above. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch article about the controversial leaked autopsy report quotes California forensics expert Dr. Judy Melinek extensively, but it turns out that she didn't say what the story says she did. If you think the official autopsy report exonerates Darren Wilson, blame it on a couple of reporters who blithely misquoted a forensics expert to -- apparently -- support the headline they wanted to write. .

For the TL;DR crowd, here's a synopsis of the problems with the article written by Christine Byers and Blythe Bernhard for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch:

The Post-Dispatch says that the autopsy report supports Wilson's version of events. In fact, it supports the earlier eyewitness testimony at least as much as it does Wilson's.

The Post-Dispatch (and later, the Washington Post, which essentially reported on the the St. Louis reporting) claims that a forensic expert said the autopsy shows that Michael Brown was "going for his (Wilson's) gun." Except that's not what the expert said - at least not in anything she provided on the record. She told Lawrence O'Donnell that it was just as likely that Brown was trying to defend himself from being shot.

The Post-Dispatch quotes the expert saying that Michael Brown's was not in surrender posture when he was shot. She actually wrote that she can't say with reasonable certainty that his hands were up when he was shot in the right forearm.

The article claims the expert said the autopsy didn't support witnesses who said Michael Brown was shot while running away or with his hands up. She apparently said nothing of the sort.

The expert quoted has since told Lawrence O'Donnell that she was only asked if the autopsy report was consistent with Darren Wilson's version of events. She was not asked if it fit other scenarios, though there are eyewitness accounts that differ from Wilson's account.

article has much more.........

mac your list is very deceiving. and does not even come lose to showing the real picture. IT does not include a penny of 501c3 (xyz whatevers) money that is estimated at nearly double all the ones you listed. they do not have to be disclosed... that is the real big oligarch money. also it does not include the chevron commercials about how they ar responsible and provide jobs for so and sos grandmother, i am dr cancer and I am going to save the world those are not considered political that put that money spent to shame also.

BD--I welcome a posting of the actual fab 100--the richest of the rich that account for most of the Super PAC money. That's what I have been poking around trying to find. But the Republicans have repeatedly blocked all efforts to reveal what financial interests are behind campaigns.
