ok Obamas father was a calling card to the hate of the right wing owned media... It was all over usa media. Yet his father never did anything wrong.

you have to go to papers/media in other countries to find this right now, so trumps upbring was formulated by a hardcore German racist.....

Well trumps father is fair game... Trumps father would not tell his Jewish customers he was German, at least after and probably before WW2

Well here is another story of the racist family...

More than 60 years ago, Woody Guthrie bemoaned his landlord – Donald Trump’s father, Fred Trump – in unrecorded song lyrics. Now a group of artists has turned his writing into a modern protest song as Trump’s son Donald continues his candidacy for US president.

Three artists have collaborated to finish and produce Old Man Trump, Guthrie’s song inspired by Fred Trump. The track, which had never been previously recorded, was released last week by Firebrand Records just months after the lyrics were re-discovered and publicized. Old Man Trump was recorded by riot folk singer Ryan Harvey with Ani DiFranco and guitarist Tom Morello.

“You’ve got Donald Trump talking about making America great again ... and so here’s Woody Guthrie, one of the definers of American history, coming out after his death and saying ‘No, it wasn’t a great era and in fact your father was part of the problem,’” Harvey said.

Guthrie, a pillar of American protest music most famous for the alternative national anthem This Land Is Your Land, signed his Brooklyn lease with Trump senior as his landlord in 1950. The real estate developer inspired song lyrics and other writings, whose existence and relevance remained forgotten until recently.

In January, Will Kaufman, a Guthrie expert and professor at the University of Central Lancashire, brought to light Guthrie’s impassioned writings about Trump. Kaufman said he found the Guthrie’s writings before Donald Trump had announced his candidacy while doing research for an upcoming book about Guthrie. After Kaufman re-publicized Guthrie’s writings, Harvey began looking to record the song for the first time because of the lyrics’ enduring relevance, he said.

“It’s about how stuff was racist in the 50s and how stuff is racist now,” Harvey said of the song. “This is a modern song that just happened to be written in the past.” Harvey found enthusiastic collaborators looking to stand against the “politics of hate”.

Wow where is the media? oh it is owned by the right wing..

Gee where is the media on this one if it was a dem it would have been front pages even before it was filed.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/lisa-bloom/why-the-new-child-rape-ca_b_10619944.html

Quote:
An anonymous “Jane Doe” filed a federal lawsuit against GOP presumptive nominee Donald Trump last week, accusing him of raping her in 1994 when she was thirteen years old. The mainstream media ignored the filing.

If the Bill Cosby case has taught us anything, it is to not disregard rape cases against famous men. Serious journalists have publicly apologized for turning a blind eye to the Cosby accusers for over a decade, notwithstanding the large number of women who had come forward with credible claims. And now history is repeating itself.

In covering a story, a media outlet is not finding guilt. It is simply reporting the news that a lawsuit has been filed against Mr. Trump, and ideally putting the complaint in context. Unproven allegations are just that - unproven, and should be identified that way. (Mr. Trump’s lawyer says the charges are “categorically untrue, completely fabricated and politically motivated.”) Proof comes later, at trial. But the November election will come well before any trial. And while Mr. Trump is presumed innocent, we are permitted - no, we are obligated — to analyze the case’s viability now.

No outsider can say whether Mr. Trump is innocent or guilty of these new rape charges. But we can look at his record, analyze the court filings here, and make a determination as to credibility - whether the allegations are believable enough for us to take them seriously and investigate them, keeping in mind his denial and reporting new facts as they develop.

I have done that. And the answer is a clear “yes.” These allegations are credible. They ought not be ignored. Mainstream media, I’m looking at you.

Note it was ABC the network that brought up Rev Wright by for some reason going through all his sermons. What liberal media would have done that.

Again it is the huge racist calling card for the right wingers to this day even on this forum by the right. Added they did not point out he was a Marine, dedicated 6 years to his country, and volunteered. They just went to assassinate/lynch him with a few lectures he gave over 30 years. You listen to trump and at least every couple days he was saying the dumbest of the dumb things and that was ok, he was just speaking his mind. But a Black marine who sounds like a marine drill sergeant speaking his mind 6 times in 30 years is the boogeyman.

how timely another ultra right winger is convicted and going to jail for child molestation. He ran against McCain as a tea party minutemen. Remember the minutemen haters on the border.

Again I would have this front page all over the media as another family values right winger caught, is it just all the ultra right wingers have not been caught yet?

Ex-border vigilante Chris Simcox's name now can be added to the list of infamous criminals to emerge from the Minuteman movement. On Wednesday, after deliberating for a day and a half, a Phoenix jury found the onetime anti-immigrant firebrand guilty on two counts of child molestation and one count of furnishing pornography to a minor.

Simcox was interviewed for the 2005 independent documentary Wetback: The Undocumented Documentary. Simcox also appeared in a 2006 documentary by Joseph Matthew and Dan DeVivo called "Crossing Arizona," and a 2007 documentary by Chris Burgard called "Border". Chris Simcox arrived at a Maricopa County Courthouse to have himself served on July 6, 2010.

If I owned the media as a liberal I would demand real questions vs as pointed out the unknowns are made.

http://www.dailykos.com/stories/2016/7/5/1545287/-HRC-Is-Getting-Gore-d-By-An-Incompetent-Media
Quote:

Remember how in 2000, Bush was the one that everyone wanted to have a beer with, and Al Gore was stiff and untrustworthy? While the consequences of Bush’s radical tax cuts for the rich were ignored, somehow Al Gore wanting to protect Social Security by putting it in a metaphorical “lockbox” was the butt of many jokes in the media.

Bush could do no wrong by the media, no matter how many times he couldn’t put enough words together to form a complete sentence describing his proposals, and Al Gore was the stiff intellectual because he actually described his proposals in detail.

Well, the same thing is now happening to Clinton. After months and months of the media playing along with the right wing propaganda machine and having lengthy debates with right wingers about if and when Clinton will be indicted, FBI director Comey said no reasonable prosecutor would bring charges against Clinton. But what are the headlines in most of the major news outlets? Clinton was “Extremely Careless”!

Instead of talking about how absolutely wrong and dishonest the right wing has been, the media is going along once again with right wing talking points that Clinton lied about sending or receiving marked classified emails. Comey was very ambiguous as to whether Clinton participated in any of the email “chains” after the emails were marked classifed. Here’s what he said:

From the group of 30,000 e-mails returned to the State Department, 110 e-mails in 52 e-mail chains have been determined by the owning agency to contain classified information at the time they were sent or received.

Separately, it is important to say something about the marking of classified information. Only a very small number of the e-mails containing classified information bore markings indicating the presence of classified information
So does he mean a very small number out of the 110 out of the 30,000 emails? This could be 1 or 2 out of the 30,000. And how far did these email “chains” extend? Did someone in these “chains” mark these as classified after Secretary Clinton saw the email?

I actually heard some reporters on MSNBC claim Clinton lied about handling classified emails when she said she did not handle marked classified emails, even though the director never said Clinton handled the “very few” emails while they were marked classified.

So Clinton was going to be persecuted by the media no matter what the FBI director said.

Just as the media turned on Al Gore and made him out to be boring and stiff and too intellectual, they have now turned on Clinton and will emphasize how untrustworthy she is. They may not treat Trump as the guy you would want to have a beer with, but they have set their course for the campaign to make sure Clinton gets Gore’d.

The main stream media deserves as much of the blame for our declining democracy as the right wing propaganda machine.

The media owes Clinton a public apology for every time they interviewed a right winger about how Clinton would be indicted.

where is the media taking this serial compulsive liar to task, and this one is so important. Bush lied us into a war, and the Donald has a predisposition to lie to the depth no man has gone before except Hitler, Mussolini, Putin; ie trumps heros.

This Isn't Funny Anymore. American Democracy Is at Stake.
Anyone who supports Donald Trump is a traitor to the American idea.

Quote:
CLEVELAND, OHIO—A while back, we here at the shebeen decided that Donald J. Trump's act was no longer funny. That he no longer was a goofy guy with three wives and a ferret on his head, a freak candidate who devoured an incredible passel of unpopular lightweights on his way to a freak nomination. That he was more than just a vessel for the barely camouflaged rage and fear of an aging white American majority terrified of so many barbarians at so many gates. But not until Wednesday did we realize the true magnitude of the threat that this reckless clown poses to American democracy. Not until Wednesday did we hear clearly the echoes of shiny black boots on German cobblestones.

On Wednesday, in several venues, He, Trump accused "some people"—he never said who they were, nor will he, ever—of calling for a moment of silence for Micah Johnson, the mass murderer of police in Dallas, Texas. We have had some experience with this. Back when he was still considered something of a sideshow attraction, He, Trump said that he's "seen" Muslim-Americans in New Jersey celebrating as the World Trade Center towers burned on September 11, 2001. He never said who they were, nor will he, ever. But at least there was a level of detail to the lie. There is in fact a state called New Jersey. There are in fact Muslim-Americans living there. And the attacks of 9/11 did in fact happen.

All the Things the Republican Party Is Against
Emboldened because this and other whopping untruths did not immediately sink his campaign, He, Trump now has taken his truthless palaver to another level entirely. This is what he said on the stump in Indiana on Wednesday, when he was taking auditions for the men who care so little for their country that they are desperate to be on a ticket with a serial arsonist.

"The other night you had 11 cities potentially in a blow-up stage. Marches all over the United States—and tough marches. Anger. Hatred. Hatred! Started by a maniac! And some people ask for a moment of silence for him. For the killer!"
To be blunt, this didn't happen.

There is no evidence from any news source that this happened. By anyone. Anywhere. Nobody can find anyone who "called for a moment of silence" for the mass killer of policemen. Nobody has counted "11 cities" that are potentially on the verge of a racial holy war. RaHoWa, cry the white-supremacists. And now the presumptive Republican presidential nominee has joined the chorus. That's where his rhetoric has led him, and far too many people have followed along.

Yeah, but it was Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg who "crossed the line." Jesus, these people.

Nobody can find anyone who called for a moment of silence. Nobody can list the 11 cities. On Wednesday, Sam Clovis, a fringe character from Iowa who has been elevated to co-chairman of He, Trump's campaign, was put on a spit by CNN's Chris Cuomo and turned, slowly, over an open flame. Via Tiger Beat On The Potomac:

Cuomo preceded his line of questioning by remarking that Trump's claim was similar to one he made months ago when he said he had seen seen Muslims celebrating in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks. Cuomo asked Clovis whether he could elucidate what Trump was referring to Tuesday night in Westfield, Indiana. "But calling for a moment of silence?" Cuomo said. "Well, it depends on the context, I guess, Chris," Clovis responded. "And frankly, I've had my nose buried in other issues. I'm not dodging your question." Cuomo was not buying it. "Sam, you're dodging it. You're dodging it. You're doing it artfully, but you're dodging it," the anchor remarked, as Clovis denied that he was doing so. "Context, my eye. Either you've seen they were calling for a moment of silence or you haven't."

Damn them all now.

Damn the delegates who will vote for this man. Damn the professional politicians who will fall in line behind him or, worse, will sit back and hope this all blows over so the Republican Party once again will be able to relegate the poison this man has unleashed to the backwaters of the modern conservative intellectual mainstream, which is where it has been useful for over four decades. Damn the four hopeless sycophants who want to share a stage with him for four months. Damn all the people who will come here and speak on his behalf. Damn all the thoughtful folk who plumb his natural appeal for anything deeper than pure hatred.

Getty Andrew Renneisen
Damn all the people who will vote for him, and damn any progressives who sit this one out because Hillary Rodham Clinton is wrong on this issue or that one. Damn all the people who are suggesting they do that. And damn all members of the media who treat this dangerous fluke of a campaign as being in any way business as usual. Any support for He, Trump is, at this point, an act of moral cowardice. Anyone who supports him, or runs with him, or enables his victory, or even speaks well of him, is a traitor to the American idea.

Damn, to name one, Speaker of the House Paul Ryan, the zombie-eyed granny-starver from the state of Wisconsin, now exposed as the feckless political weakling he's always been. On Wednesday, during an inexcusable CNN-sponsored informercial for himself, Ryan was asked the only question that mattered:

But the challenge facing Ryan was clear when he was asked a question by Zachary Marcone, a Republican who said he couldn't support Trump because he is "openly racist." "Can you tell me, how can you morally justify your support for this kind of candidate?" Marcone asked.
Ryan responded like the spineless careerist tool he's always been.

"You're going to help elect Hillary Clinton and I don't think Hillary Clinton is supporting any of the things you stand for if you're a Republican."
In other words, if we don't elect this authoritarian wild man, I won't get to gut Medicare the way I've always wanted to.

If I were Ryan, I'd put that on a bumper sticker.

Jesse Ventura on Why Trump Is Getting Votes
Here is the truth. Nobody called for a moment of silence for Micah Johnson. Eleven U.S. cities are not on the brink of racial violence. He, Trump just made that shit up so his followers can stay afraid and angry at the people he wants them to fear and hate. This lie was a marching order and the Party of Lincoln is right in step with him, straight into the burning Reichstag of this man's mind.

Welcome to the 2016 Republican convention: a four-day celebration of the ritual suicide of American democracy.

here is another one, the right wing FBI director lied... He should be removed from office as he is in charge of telling the truth to the american people. again noting he is a life long republican... you do not see the media mention that in their hate posts. again they could be saying life long republican FBI director sees no conflict of interest in him investigating. If I was the liberal media I would hammer that with this information.

State Department Declares FBI Director Was WRONG About Clinton’s Emails, They Were NOT Marked
One again, manufactured scandal on the tax payer's dime.

..."since Comey’s announcement on Tuesday the public has learned that in fact only 2 of the 55,000 email were marked as classified, and better yet, the two that were deemed classified were actually marked that way by accident."

from the second source
Quote:
State Dept spox Kirby just now says two emails that Comey said were 'marked classified' were wrongly marked, and were not classified.

I find this amazing... I could only find one major newspaper reporting about the verdict late/friday last week that a judge ordered Trumps company to pay a painting contractor that did the work and Trump organization just wound not pay the last 30k a few years ago because they knew the small business could not afford the costs of such a lawsuit.

Again he and his kids seem to be involved with this non-payment sceme as a business practice.

But the judge also ordered trump et all to pay the 300k in legal fees too.

But I just did a google search and not one major media covered it and just a few small ones that did. Considering it goes directly to his MO of unethical alleged business practices and not one major media covering it.

again we never saw the right wing owned media demanding investigations of Powel or Rice on an hourly basis, exactly was that? Isn't it time for it?

For that matter trumps perjury to congress when he lied to them trying to get a right to casinos on Indian lands.

http://mediamatters.org/blog/2016/03/07/state-dept-concludes-past-secretaries-of-state/209044

Quote:
The State Department's internal investigation arm issued a final memorandum today on the email practices of past and current secretaries of state, and it said definitively that past secretaries handled classified material on unclassified email systems.

The same claims were made in an early February memo when the State Department's inspector general first announced it was conducting a records review related to the email accounts of five secretaries of state -- Madeline Albright, Colin Powell, Condoleezza Rice, Hillary Clinton and John Kerry -- and their immediate staff.

After closely examining a number of potentially sensitive emails with help from State Department and Intelligence Community officials, the State Department's inspector general concluded that 12 emails contain "national security information classified at the Secret or Confidential levels." Additionally, it was determined none of the emails contained intelligence information, meaning it was classified for other reasons.

The emails in question, as the inspector general has previously stated, came from Secretary Powell's personal email account and personal email accounts of Secretary Rice's immediate staff.

Quote:
Current Secretary John Kerry wasn't mentioned in this new memo, but it was revealed that he too sent classified information directly to Secretary Clinton while he was serving in the U.S. Senate. Two emails from his private account had to be upgraded to "secret" and shielded from public release as they were discovered in the trove of Clinton documents.
