i've got size 12 feet, and rarely have issues. great comment above about getting lift of the leeward rail.

i put my feet in just deep enough to get the curve of the rail to conform to the arch in my foot. seems to match up well with getting the most out of the fin/board lift. very few boards were ever set too far outboard. naish icon was one several years back. the naish grand prix boards since don't have that problem. they are teriffic. as i said, most don't have that too far outboard setting IMHO.

boom high, base forward enough to bring the nose down, straps as far back as one can manage, harness lines long. seems to set the cockpit perfectly for me and my 6'3" carcass.
