I have the 3S 96 and love it (even more than some of my other boards ). I sailed the Cross and liked it, but it's not quite the same. The 3S seems livelier, but still remains very comfortable in chop. Should be a great board for transitioning from a larger board, but you'll probably keep sailing it for many years.
If you can follow Andy's suggestion to go to Hatteras and try it, that would be ideal - different sailors have different preferences. But make sure to call him ahead of time and reserve the board! |
