On the way back The Dalles I noticed somebody windsufing at Rowena. With an air temp of 48 and a water temp of about 39 degrees that is a bit more than I'll put up with. Hurry up spring! Although it looked like it was averaging about 30mph at the time.....

Yea I stopped and watched for a bit....Young man was on a 76ltr STB Quad and a NP 4.2.....dry suit, said that he was nice and toasty.

He ripped it up.

I saw someone out there this afternoon also. But I was on the WA. side.

OK....I couldn't stand it anymore, got all of the stuff out, loaded up the truck, looked at Swell, the Event Site, and ended up out at Rowena. Got there just in time to see Larry launch on a 5.3 and a 90+ Kode, so no going back then. Rigged a 4.6 and stuck it on the 80 RRD. Sailed for an hour or so powered up in some real nice steady, (for Rowena), stuff. Came in and put on the new JP 93 and took it for a spin.

Had a good time. Not so hot when the river poured down the neck tho...LOL Don't fall in damit

Larry said that he got 4 out of the last 5.

This is the earliest I've been out for years. Will keep it up if the wind stays the way it has been this week.
