Sailed Seaside at the old marina on the bay Sunday and Trixies on Wednesday. No sign of any debris , great sailing , no boats yet ! |

i have found seaside to be just fine. its lava that im having the worst experience with this season. just gonna keep marking on GPS and toss out floats later... _________________ Lavallette & Seaside NJ

So does this mean Trixies has now been opened (or did you jump the fence)? It was still locked up last month.

Have you tried calling the DEP number to let them know where you're finding the submerged objects? I would definitely do this.

Trixies is open. It is in good shape. There is more sand and the short section of fence is gone. I sailed there Wed and did reaches across to Island
Beach.I saw nothing bad in water.We sailed for 3 hours |

Sunday looks like a sure thing. I'll be sailing Sunday at Allen Road (awesome on E wind) come hell or high water -- I'd be nice to have some company a/k/a a tow board when one of us loses a fin. |

I will be down visiting family in Toms River this weekend and am looking to sail. Easy access to Trixies and S.S.P. Thanks for the reports. |

Since you're in the area, on the NW wind, I'd give Ocean Gate a shot. It's about the only place that works on the west side of the bay -- and works pretty well at that. Nice runs across the Toms R. I can't sail tomorrow but will try to on Sunday if conditions hold. |
