For those of you surfed the weekend, recovery should be just about complete.

Tomorrow, you can start planning for the potential of an illness to creep in Friday afternoon.

.FRI...NE WINDS 15 TO 20 KT WITH GUSTS UP TO 30 KT. SEAS 5 TO

How about the power couple making their way to the outer Cape?

Not sure if you're referring to us - we'll be on our way to the lower Cape - the one all the way down in NC Smile

yes

I'm still keep an eye on tomorrow for a nooner.

Looks like the persistent east flow will tear up the clear swell that's been hitting the outer Cape

Whale watching from shore is now on too!

If no sh!t hits the fan, a nooner is in the plan for tomorrow. Wind out of the NE should deliver a consitent flow right down the Bay. With a low end tide, parking will be not problem.

Hardie - R U Out There??

COASTAL WATERS FROM PROVINCETOWN TO CHATHAM

.FRI...NE WINDS 15 TO 20 KT WITH GUSTS UP TO 30 KT.

At the Chatham CG Station - 7ish am -- NE 12 G 21 mph

IMHO the bay probably has even better conditons as the wind is funneled by the shape vs. coming up over the bank at the station

Get'n there

Wow!

Conditions were better than the forecast.

A classic at Jackknife Cove.

NE, with maybe a hint of ENE, wind in the high teens to near 25, 98% sunshine, a little cool on bare hands and a good tide to allow for no worries about parking lot flooding.

Great sailing company (Hardie) and the chance meeting of a new couple that fits our “kind” added up to a solid grade A afternoon.

RC

ps - My day was finished off at Karoo in Eastham just north of the world famous Coast Guard Beach. OK South African food which might be of interest for surfers who work up an appetite.
