My name is U2 x3, Iam a finaholic and board conversion addict. I purchased 4 fins in the past month and have converted 2 windsurf boards to multi fin in the past year.

This board is a wave Naish , a Hybrid Wave converted to a trailer tri fin, it works very nicely with these K4s 14cm w/ 2 degree toe and asymmetrical insides and a Kaku 15cm rear center. Also very impressive is a more traditional set up for tri w 23cm Black Project Fin rear and 8cm K4s ahead, or really windy 21cm BPF w same 8cm K4s, 2 degree toe and again asymmetrical.

RRD 74Liter Wave twin now a quad, w/ Maui UltraFIn 15.5cm and FCS GXQ forward, also w Maui Fin Co. LS 16cm rears.

No conversion here but Witchcraft 88L Chakra, w Witchy RTM fins

The addition of fins to a wave board is going to increase drag, so slower to plane, in waves plenty of plus, in bump and jump a early planing FSW board would be a better candidate, but price and availability always a consideration.

2013 project yet to be established

" I'm a finaholic. " Shocked

Sir, I think we all suspected as much, though with our customary compassion for fellow windsurfers we didn't wish to mention it. Must say though, those boards look very professional indeed.

Mind you, there are worse afflictions than fins (cue Brucie.) (Or the back foot first brigade.) You may even one day fall victim to the longboard virus, and incessantly babble and twitter about poetry in motion, as some of us jibbering wrecks are compelled so to do. Rolling Eyes

Several of us "faithful to the cause" have experimented with fin foils and toe in which is now becoming more common on production boards ,

for a tri or quad set up 2 degrees + using asymmetrical fins is the better setup. This helps planing and control and really makes the board more turny without losing any of it firmness , as attached to the water.

K4 the yellow fins are available in asymmetrical sides with 1 or 2 degrees of toe Smile

some of the FCS have a moderate amount as well. It was so nice to have the conversions work well this year .

GT, I'm afraid you'd be queuing him in the afterlife.
