The wind was strongest between 1 to 3:30. I was on a 4.2/90L ..should have taken the smaller board because the flood chop was brutal. As I was leaving at 3:30 the park filled up and it was amusing to watch the rigging frenzy as sailors coming from work rushed to get into the water. Sure is good to be retired Smile

Sunday's wind at Sherman Island was remarkable. The high wind after sunrise was on a flood tide, but when the ebb came around, there was still plenty of wind and jumping to enjoy. The photographer is Markus Marschall. iWindsurf deserves special credit for predicting this epic day. Fanatic FreeWave 75 and 4.5 sail.

I left a green Ezzy duffle/gear bag @ DPL on the coast Wednesday PM. My fins, mast extensions, u-joints ect are in it.

If you picked it up please contact me at 4(zero)8-8(three)2-15(three)9

Thanks,
Tom

It was pretty good stayed on a 5.7 all afternoon though I could have
been on a 5.3 most of the time. You can't see the weeds on the surface
at first glance but they are just underneath and I did spin out on a normal
thruster setup. Still recovering from a cold so I cut it about hour short
of what I normally would.

Groovy ( late 60's expression} 5.0 session at Dumbo on Sunday. Rigged up at 1, had to hop over the jersey barrier and past the chain link fence to get to the water. Surprising good swell action at the Newark end by the tower. Only one there and because of that I put a club on the steering wheel which was dumb as all my sailing gear is probably worth 5 times more than my Previa van. While sailing I had to keep an eye on my Van to make sure it wasn't towed, vandalized or ticketed. Came in at 3 and was happy as a lark as the session brought me back 25 years when I first got into shortboard sailing at Dumbo! Smile
