Thanks ctuna,

Makes sense. 1 meter/second = 2.23694 mph.

I am glad it is fixed as I am sure others are. And we do not want iWindsurf pro forecasters misled. Could cause Natural Bridges to become overly crowded Wink

I think they base there reports on pro weather models.
The Sensors in our area have been having a lot of problems
as of late. One thing nice about then new iwindsurf maps is
it gives you all the surrounding sensors for a sanity check.
I still miss the ability to see the text data about each measurement
by scrolling over it on the graphs that was very useful.

Regarding sensors: Here in SF Bay I noticed the Blunt Point sensor has read strange for at least a month at least with the lulls not showing up. Not that big deal to me since the average and gust stills seems to be there. But now the TI sensor has turned off completely! I assumed a seagull took a dump on the TI sensor but now wondering if it's something a bit more hi-tech?

Berkeley Sat., ragged edge of 4.5 and 84FSW, very confused water so today will prob be light.
Strong NW coast wind today, I wonder about R&G later Pm.

I launched at 2:30 and it was full on 4.0 up at the restaurant. Nice swell just off the corner. Pretty choppy everywhere else. The 4.4 freestyle guys stayed down by the 3rd dock where it was a little lighter. Apparently upwind in the circle was a little lighter and more organized as well according to a friend who sailed up there.

When your hat won't stay on your head while you're rigging, a 5.7 is too big. Tried to make it from the Berkeley Yacht Club to E-ville on a foil and 5.7. No relief, 3 foot swells and gusts to 30. A workout, but not much fun.

Well, I'm getting along in the year's now, so 20-30 isn't really all that fun anymore, not with a non twisty Superfreak and too fast board. Maybe a 4.0 would have approached "fun".

Saturday 81L and 4.3 powered outside to severely overpowered at Point Anita. Chop literally horrible all the way out to the outside, than flattish because it is flooding. Zero swell, really unpleasant conditions but a lot of people out.

Sunday a likely chop repeat but less windy ... I decide to go Mountain Biking Shocked

.5 ft negative tide when I sailed at 1:30 pm at Coyote. Long, long walk to deep enough water to foil and this is with the short mast ( 2 ft ) on the Slingshot. I totally misread the wind and my 5.0 sail was at least a meter to big with the wind at 23 and gusts to close to 30 at SFO.. WTF! I plan on going back to regular windsurfing for awhile after today's ass whupping Embarassed
