VERY windy Crissy. Out with the 81 and 4.3 I quickly wish I was on 3.7. Choppy inside where is also the windiest with some nasty gust, flat outside and a bit less strong. I soldier on for about 45' but than I retreat because even if pretty much in control I am not having too much fun ... RIG SMALL NEXT TIME!!!!!! Shocked

Not much wind last Friday as we were stuck under that overhead low pressure area, however I did get out and caught a few waves while traveling the coast. Pumping was often required and did not guarantee a catch. At 38th Avenue I was joined by another windsurfer out of Capitola. Increase of windsurfers inside the Monterey Bay: 100%

Can we possibly start another new thread for this topic so we don't have to click to the end of the list of 227 posts? How do we accomplish that? thanks,
Ben

Hi Ben,
Just click on the last page # on the line directly under "Where We Sailed Today". One click to be on the last page.

Clicking on the last page # gets one to the end in one click.
I must be missing the problem...

Go to the column at the right of the topics list called LAST POST.
Click the little notepad icon next to the name of the person who created the post.
Do not click the person's name.

The notepad icon navigates you to the END of the Where We Sailed Today postings.

Before things really picked up, I windsurfed a 75L board with 5-0 sail and the chop was mostly in the playpen at Sherman Island Access.

Windiest day at Berkeley I've ever seen yesterday. Took a chance by getting in the water after 5pm (usually dies by then) and it got even windier.
Was on a 4.7 and overpowered. But Berkeley never let me down!
