Given Ned's reading is down, can anyone tell me what the next best reading is? I'm thinking about making a run today given the forecast but can't tell if I should just keep driving to West Dennis. Can anyone let me know? Maybe post on the live report? |

I windsurf is taking their time fixing the Ned's Point sensor. Something about fixing a broken pipe. Not sure how that affects a sensor on the roof. Anyway, we try to triangulate W Falmouth and Fairhaven. The Fairhaven sensor is pretty high off the ground and doesn't always correspond with wind on the water. Sometimes the wind at Ned's is better than those sensors and sometimes it's worse. Tough to predict. If you are passing by it may be worth a look but if you are coming from the N and want a sure thing, go to W Dennis. Good luck! |

It would sure help if that sensor was back up..... West Island can show trends, like the BB bouy can and similarly, is usually higher that the wind we see at Ned's and other shore spots. So, iwindsurf, when??? |

Brandon Westley has volunteered to have the sensor put on his home. iWinsurf has yet to make the move. Now, would be a good time!! His house is on the water, same beach, closer to Ned's and a reliable location. Let's put a little pressure on iWindsurf. _________________ http://withrowsontheblog.blogspot.com/ |

I have had some increasingly nasty interactions with I windsurf and last week they seem to have relented and at least taken Brandon's email and cell phone info. I am hopeful that they will follow through and change the location of the sensor. |

I too have sent posts to iwindsurf re the long absence of that sensor. I also said the I plan to d/c my membership if something is not done soon, altho I doubt this constitutes much of a threat. |
