Anyone have experience with a 2012 starboard quad in the gorge? Just bought one. I know it won't perform as well as my kode for b&j .got it
Mostly for swell riding but curious how it does in all the chop
Seen a few at roosi and they appeared to be doing ok
It's 87 ltrs and I am 205 lbs, mid-upper level sailer
Thanks. Kevin a |

Have not been to Hood River this year, last i saw quite a few quads there. I rode my Exoxet Quad conversion and it did excellent at Dougs, a few others tried it and were impressed.
I see not disadvantage in a quad there, it will plane slower, as any multi fin will, generally speaking. It will turn and stay more attached to the water.
I have heard some have a problem jumping, when the fins catch more air, but on landing more fins hit the water, so its secure, IMO
Think about some K4 Graham Ezzy fins with 2 degree toe and asymmetrical sides. _________________ K4 fins

Gorge Animal boards had 4+ fins back in the 80s.
Little history for the young'ins
