OK yegadz. There are different types of sails. They tend to rig differently. The same type of sail from different manufacturers tend to rig differently. The exact same sail model from the same manufacturer tend to rig differently from one year model to another.

So, keep this advice with you through your years of windsurfing. Be VERY wary of folks who give you advice on rigging. The best thing to do is to go to the manufacturers web site and hopefully find a rigging manual or video for your sail.

Is your sail a 5.8 Drive Light? http://www.north-windsurf.com/media/transfer/doc/north_sails_brochure_2006_en.pdf

At first glance, I don't see a rigging guide. But there is a picture of one of their team riders sailing with one near the spec list. Rig it to look like that.
