Come back when you have sailed Palo, GoatRock, BodegaHeads, Ft.Cronk on a S, Stinson on both NW and S, and Duxbury at the S point....

You can get lucky NW winds July and August but there is a big chance of getting fogged in or a mix of SW NW fighting each other which leads to decent NW winds around 15knts for part of the day. Best time of year there is spring. When the NW wind is struggling to rip into the bay it is howling down tomales. Here is a April day this year with sick sailors riding 3.0s.

There are tons of wave spots on and off the map that are pretty sketchy except for Stinson Beach. The launch inside the bay is beautiful but you have to walk your gear rigged and un-rigged down some steep dirt paths. Its an incredible place to sail in an ebb tide there.
