Good afternoon. I begin my EasT coast yearly odyssey at OH dark 30 tomorrow, Sunday the 28 of July 2013 AD.
Usual transport mode is the Ferrari F40, disguised as a Chrysler Town & Country mini van.
I should arrive in NE at 1800GMT on or about the 30th of July. The UTE medicine man in town has canted wind spirits for me, so take those extra vacation days this week as it is bound to be howling on the Eastern coast and surrounding areas. The wind doesn't know you called in sick.
Those stuck in Hood River or Maui should make travel arrangements .
HotSails Maui QU4D in 5.6 m , its not pink its blueish/magenta
Rhys Harriman and Sinbad will be remembered in the course of the sailing extravaganza.
This may start a revolution among beginners, a quad board as a learner device, tested and proven in Colorado _________________ K4 fins

U2- again I make the same offer as last year when you announced your NE arrival-bring wind with you and I'll make you the proud owner of a case of Lagunitas IPA....last year I drank it in despair over lack of wind... I'd much rather you drink it while I sail my freaking brains out!
Counting on ya, o bringer of wind.... |

U2^3,
As i look out over the deathly still waters this morning, with the wind meter reading 2 mph, you can not arrive east soon enough. So, put the pedal to the metal and bring those gradients with ya. In the meantime, I'll try to convince myself that SUPing is just as good. |

Team Old Skool at the ready--to transform any frisky winds into frothy wakes. Let us know when the gales are to blow through Buzzards Bay/Cape Cod! |

U2U2U2 you brought wind! I am amazed! You must have other worldly powers. The forcast for Long Island Sound was for West wind 5-10. It's been averaging 15 -20 since 10:30 am. It's now 5:15 pm. Tuesday July 30th. This is the finest day we have had in what seems like months! The oppresive humidity and heat are gone. You must be almost here by now.
Welcome to the East Coast! |
