All you Open Ocean riders please send me your photos and OO stories! I'm going to do an update next month and I want to get you and your board on the website! Go to the Gallery section and click on the email link from there. NOT the link on the home page although that will work. Brian just has to send them to me. Lets let him worry about building boards!
Or email me here.

Thanks

Brian making me a board in '99 was probably the best thing to advance my hi-wind sailing skills.
My original OO is for sale in the classifieds add # 19382:
"Open Ocean Tri Fin 8'2" ~85 Liters.
I am the original owner of this board that I had Brian
Hinde custom make me in 1999. I used in The Gorge
in '99, '00 and then went to Mistral/Naish 8'4" Wave
and Naish 8'5" Wave. My girlfriend at
the time used it sparingly from '01 - '03 for her
light/moderate wind kit.
Excellent condition with professional repair on nose.
My windsurfing skills excelled on this board as it is
very user friendly. It can handle powered 3.5 and will
also plane in moderate 5.5.
Carbon/Glass construction is light, stiff and damp.
Tri Fin set-up and faceted bottom shape provides lift
and control.
With fixed side bites and Caserio Wave Fin and
Visual Speed custom board bag.
Hand Made in The Gorge USA." |
